About

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Marine Biology Section, Ghent Univeristy, Belgium. I studied Licenciate Biology (Zoology) at Ghent University, followed by a Master in Marine and Lacustrine Sciences at the Marine Biology Department, Ghent University. I subsequently completed a PhD in Deep-Sea Biology at Ghent University, after which I obtained a Post-doc position working on deep-sea benthic ecology and Antarctic science. Involved in multiple projects (HERMIONE, IMCOAST, ECO2, amongst others) and networks (e.g. INDEEP) and collaborating with multiple international institutions (NOCS, AWI, uLiverpool, uBurgundy, ULB, RBINS, NIVA, Senckenberg Institute, uHamburg)
