    Jerry Bias heads Wisdom Oak Winery in North Garden, Virginia, as founder and chief executive officer. In his leadership role, he oversees quality control procedures involved in wine production while also managing staff members and hosting wine tastings. In recognition of his accomplishments, Jerry Bias has won numerous award for his wines, including a San Francisco Chronicles Wine Competition double gold. Further, each of Wisdom Oak's wines received medals through the Virginia Governor's Cup. In terms of nonprofit involvement, Jerry Bias supports with the National Urban League and the Children's Aid Society. Further, he supports groups like Women's Health of Virginia, the University of Virginia Children's Hospital, and the Monticello Foundation. When not working, Mr. Bias enjoys broadening his knowledge of wine by collecting fine vintages and by producing new ones. He also stays engaged in culture by collecting fine art created by the likes of Henry Tanner and William Tolliver. Also an avid reader, he prefers reflective and philosophical literature like Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse.
