Data science and biotech enthusiast with experience in population genetics and bioinformatics expertise in molecular data - DNA sequencing, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and protein structure. Currently, leveraging big data analytics in clinical data - clinical trials, electronic health records and drug repositioning - to bring more direct impact to patients. Has interest also in teaching, scientific communications and squash. I am currently working in the field of translational and clinical informatics in Professor Atul Butte's Lab at the Institute for Computational Health Sciences at UCSF. Specifically, I am using big data analytics to probe University-of-California-wide electronic health records, clinical trials data and drug repositioning, being applied to the immunology-related fields of organ transplantation and asthma.
