Until mid-2018, Joffre was co-Director of the Institute for Choice (I4C), University of South Australia. He is currently a part-time Research Professor at the same institution. His research is strongly focused on human choice behavior, particularly the econometric modelling of both decision processes and outcomes. He is currently very interested in modelling Antecedent Volition in choice processes, such as goal-driven choices, choice set formation, decision strategy selection, etc. Application areas include principally transportation, health, environment and marketing.
