About

After ten years in industry I moved back to academia in the newly formed Institute of Photonics at Strathclyde University. I helped found the Centre for Biophotonics there in 2000. I moved to Durham University as part of the Biophysical Sciences Institute initiative in January 2009 to become its Director in August 2011.
