An experienced financial executive and corporate attorney, John Kai Lassen currently serves as the managing director of Rockwick Capital, a company he founded in 2008. The Delaware-based firm provides niche services to neglected segments of the financial instrument market. The company offers a wide range of financial and funding options to clients, including forward sale funding, collateralized project finance, and corporate bond funding. In his leadership role, John Kai Lassen oversees all daily operations for the firm, including business development and strategic planning.
John Lassen earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University before going on to complete his law degree at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to founding Rockwick Capital, he served in a number of key positions with leading companies, including as a partner in Delaware law firm Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell. In addition, he served as an advisor to several startup companies and real estate development firms.
An active member of the legal field, Kai Lassen has previously served as chairman of the estates and trusts section of the Delaware State Bar Association and as a registered bond counsel. He has been included in Who’s Who of American Lawyers each year for the past three decades.
