About

Born and raised in Denmark, I also completed my Master and PhD degrees at the University of Copenhagen, with a short stint at Tokyo University. Initially aiming to do research in high energy physics, I became 'converted' to quantum optics during my graduate course. I did my PhD in the lab of Eugene Polzik, working on non-classical continuous-variable quantum states, a line of research I continued to pursue for almost 3 years at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology in Tokyo, in the group of Masahide Sasaki. I am now at the Technical University of Denmark in the group of Ulrik Andersen, working on strong optical coupling to NV centers in diamond.
