My research experience represents an interdisciplinary approach that spans cognitive neuroscience, therapeutic development, and fundamental basic science. This training has provided me with the unique opportunity to study MS from a variety of perspectives and relate my research questions back to clinically relevant problems. Presently, I study how to formation of new blood vessels promotes disease progression in MS patients using an animal model of chronic inflammation.
