    About

Prior to the beginning of his PhD in Materials Science in the Bioengineering Research Group of the School of Materials at the University of Manchester (2014), he obtained his BSc in Mechanical Engineer (2002-07), MSc in Mechanical Engineering (2011-13) at the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz in his natal Mexico. He participated as a part time lecturer in that same institute after obtaining his MSc. He worked in the steel manufacturing industry in the area of research and development (R&D) of seamless steel pipes for the oil industry. He also has worked within the oil industry in worker operations His current research work involves stress analysis with the use of the finite element method (FEM), experimental techniques, design and manufacture of equipment for experimental work and the use of imaging techniques (CT scan), for the creation of three-dimensional models of the hip joint.
