I am a PhD candidate and researcher in Translation Studies at the Department of Modern Languages of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. I am currently working on a PhD thesis entitled "Culture in cognitive translatology". In this study, I seek to develop an approach to "culture" that can be operationalized within the framework of cognitive translatology, a 4EA cognition approach mainly developed by PETRA Research Group (Expertise and Environment in Translation).
