About

Joshua was employed as a researcher at the HyperVision Research Laboratory after winning the UJ Image Image Processing Challenge in 2010. His third year informatics project, an access control system, achieved second place at the annual UJ projects day and his honours project, a tuberculosis detection application, won the Microsoft Imagine Cup South Africa in 2011. Joshua holds a BSc honours degree in Information Technology and is currently studying towards a Master's degree. His research interests include audio DSP, pattern recognition, biomedical and GPGPU programming.
