JP Kelly completed his PhD at the University of Nottingham, Department of Culture, Film & Media. He is a lecturer in Film and Television at Royal Holloway, University of London. His research explores the dynamic between the television industry, new media technologies and narrative form. He is currently working on projects that explore nostalgia in contemporary television culture and the relationship between TV and "big data".
