About

Juan Carlos Ortiz Nicolas is a lecturer in user experience at The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Prior to joining UNAM Juan Carlos undertook his Ph.D in User Experience at Imperial College London. Juan Carlos holds a master’s degree in Design for Interaction from Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) and a Bachelor’s degree on Industrial Design at The National Autonomous University of Mexico. He has been teacher of Design, User Centred Design, Design Research, and Sustainable Design. Juan Carlos likes travelling, cycling, cooking and reading novels in general.
