A graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business, where she double majored in finance and international business, Judith Hess has managed her family's contemporary art collection since 1995. From 2009 to 2011, she served as Director, Private clients for the Phillips Auction House in London, England, where she managed relationships with high-net-worth collectors and other clients and advised collectors as a contemporary art specialist. Judith Hess ultimately left Phillips to accept a position with the European Chairman’s Office of Christie’s Auction House. As the international director for business development, she performed a variety of management and advisory functions for Europe, Russia, India, and the Middle East.
After leaving Christie’s in September of 2014, Ms. Hess founded Jude Hess Fine Arts. From her current headquarters in London, Judith Hess provides a wide range of consulting and brokerage services for art collectors and institutions around the world. She also helps research specific art investments that allow clients to augment and upgrade their collections. She has now established her US company, Jude Hess Fine Arts, LLC.
