I was a chef who was moonlighting as a therapist, and now I am a therapist moonlighting as a chef.... I aspire to be a mindful therapist, unconventional researcher, and erudite professor.... My academic interests study the relationships of extraordinary couples, that is, couples who seem to know what they are doing better than others, and figure out how others can follow their in path. My clinical interests focus on intangible couple-created patterns and behaviors, such as communication, intimacy, and spirituality.... And yes, I aspire to become a sex therapist.... I believe my unique experiences and perspective will help couples understand and form integral and gestalt relationships that are mutually rewarding and endless in their rewards and possibilities. Small aspirations, I know...but honestly, who would settle for anything less?
