R. Kalidoss completed bachelor degree (B.E., 2004) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and master degree (M.E., 2006) in Communication Systems from Anna University, Chennai. Further, he obtained doctoral degree (Ph.D., 2015) from Anna University, Chennai.
He has acquired solid teaching experience at various engineering institutes, first as lecturer and later as an assistant professor for several courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels (e.g. Principles of Communication, Digital Principles and System Design, Computer Architecture, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Signals and Systems, Computer Networks, Digital Signal Processing, Communication Engineering, Embedded System, Mobile Communication, Electronics and Microprocessor, Advanced Radiation System, Microwave Integrated Circuits, Digital Communication Receiver).
His current research interests include Adaptive Channel Modelling in Cognitive Radio, Advanced Spectrum Utilization and Cognitive Radio architecture. Moreover, he has strong background in diverse fields such as mathematical model of advanced communication systems, Electromagnetic Fields, Embedded systems and signal processing. He has published/presented over 20 research articles in refereed International/National Journals/Conferences.
