For more than a decade, Karl F. von Reuter has maintained a Minneapolis law office focused on the representation of injured workers in workers' compensation cases. Engaging closely with clients, he outlines the full range of strategic options, including trial and settlement, and likely potential outcomes. Karl F. von Reuter takes particular pride in making sure that insurance firms provide workers’ compensation benefits to the full extent required under the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Act.
Mr. von Reuter also works with the Reppe Law Office in Northfield, Minnesota. He has engaged with practice manager Jonathan Reppe as co-counsel in diverse state and federal court cases. He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Rutgers University and had the opportunity to work on labor sites in East Germany as an undergraduate. This early experience led to his interest in US labor law, and in the relationship between capitalist systems and the insurance industry. Karl F. von Reuter subsequently completed a JD at Hamline University in St. Paul and clerked at the Office of Administrative Hearings under workers’ compensation judges.
