Accredited in business valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Katherine Puffer works with attorneys and businesses to provide business valuations and damage estimates. Also a licensed certified public accountant, she has been in the financial and valuation field for more than 30 years. Katherine Puffer possesses expertise in several areas, including financial services, fast food, printing services, agricultural related businesses, computer industry, electronics industry, manufacturing, professional practices, personal services, amusement and recreation, retail, family limited partnerships/LLC’s, intellectual property, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, marital dissolution and transaction related valuations. She is certified in divorce financial analysis. In 2005, she opened VH Valuations, a business she currently owns and operates. Katherine Puffer holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a bachelor’s degree in business from the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota and completed the Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin. She was a financial officer at Allstate Insurance Company for 10 years. Currently, Katherine Puffer maintains memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois.
