Kay S. Hooper, B.M., M.M., is a pianist, certified Alexander Technique Teacher and certified Andover Educator. Her two interests are (1)movement for performers as it is governed by neurological body maps and (2) integrating sensory input to enhance movement and reduce performance anxiety. She has presented her workshop "Ambient Awareness" to conferences at the local, state, national and international levels. Her book, "Sensory Tune-ups: a guided journal of sensory experiences for performers of all ages", is a unique tool for integrating vision, hearing and kineasthesia in practice and performance.
