I was born in Mie, Japan in 1980, and received his bachelor’s degree in 2003, master’s degree in 2005, and Ph.D. in 2008 from Osaka University under the direction of Professor Mikiji Miyata. He had the opportunity to work under the direction of Professor Gautam R. Desiraju at the University of Hyderabad, as a visiting graduate student for 2 months in 2006. His present research interests include crystal engineering, chiral recognition in inclusion compounds, and X-ray crystallography.
