Widely regarded as the Father of Herbal Encapsulation, Kenneth Brailsford is chairman of the board for Zija International, a company that specializes in supplements and products made from the Moringa tree. As a network marketing and nutritional supplement expert, Kenneth Brailsford is a pioneer in the worldwide dispersion of encapsulated herbs. In the early 1970s, Mr. Brailsford co-founded Nature’s Sunshine, a provider of natural products. Before Mr. Brailsford left to run The Herbalist Magazine in 1979, Nature’s Sunshine went public, adopted a network marketing business model, and focused on the sale of encapsulated herbs.
In the years that followed, Mr. Brailsford purchased Nature’s Labs, Inc., changed its name to The Enrich Corporation, and began the creation of international sales operations. Before its acquisition in 2000, the corporation had a presence in Russia, Trinidad, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Brunei.
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor of science in economics, Mr. Brailsford enlisted in the United States Army. As a first lieutenant, he was responsible for intelligence work and was granted a written commendation for his service.
