Kris Verburgh is a medical doctor, researcher and author with a great interest in the science of aging (biogerontology), metabolism (diabetes, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative diseases, obesity) and neuroscience. He wrote his first science book at the age of 16. His second book, a 520 pages work about the theory of evolution and neuroscience addresses philosophical questions using scientific insights. He wrote his third book at the age of 25, about health, nutrition, aging and preventive medicine. At age 28, he created a new scientific discipline called 'nutrigerontology' (Aging Cell, 2014), which is a synthesis of medicine, biogerontology (the science of aging) and nutrition.
