About

I am currently working on a book project on anthropological, sociological, historical aspects of diasporic community formation in the Western Indian Ocean Arena through the aspects of political economy and by inquiring into the processes of the migration of labour for capital creation, traders and merchants for commerce and business, and pilgrims for Hajj. How a broader history of Indian Ocean networks explain the South Asian situation in British imperial context is being looked into.
