Research interests

Plant and insect physiological and transcriptomical adaptation to climate change. Ecosystem complexity and interactivity with Earth systems. Adaptation of agricultural practices to future climate change and maximising 'more crop per drop'.

I am currently employed as a lecturer at Harper Adams University. I teach crop production, plant physiology and biosciences to undergraduates as well as holding a NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellowship in the area of Horticulture. My research areas of expertise are in organismal adaptability to environmental stress, in particular water stress. I am also involved in research into teaching enhancement.
