I've been introduced to software testing in 2003 as a undergraduate researcher in Hewlett-Packard/PUCRS Research Center for Software Testing. I have left the lab in 2005 and since then I've worked for some companies and participated in a lot of interesting projects, my experience varies from embedded software to large web applications, mostly automating softwares tests with tools like QuickTest Professional, RoboJ, XDE Tester and opensource tools like Selenium and Watir. Nowadays I'm working on my final paper which is about the transition of QA professionals from waterfall to agile and how does the tester fits in an agile team.
