About

I started my career as a computer programmer, at the same time that I learned physics as an undergraduate student. In the last years of my bachelor I choose Computational Physics, specially related to Biology and Information Theory (Statistical Mechanics). I did my Master in source localization of EEG activity using Maximum Entropy approach with Automatic Relevance Determination or Sparse Bayesian Methods, and after I graduated I spent one year as a research assistant learning about the analysis of ERP and time-frequency analysis of EEG applied to a series of cognitive studies related to subliminal and unconscious perception. I'm currently studying, as a graduate student, the dynamics of prior information in the brain and how new evidence (specially unconscious ones) updates our beliefs about the world, and in turn how these new beliefs define our perception.
