He worked as lecturer chemistry at the Tanta University since 1982 and as a professor of physical chemistry in 1999. He is serving in different positions in Egypt, Kuwait, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia. He is professor of physical chemistry at Al Baha University (KSA) since 2012 till now. His research field is Electro Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Corrosion, Quantum Chemistry, Molecular dynamics simulation and Extractive Metallurgy .
