About

I am biologist, MSc in Entomology, and PhD in Ecology (UFV, Brazil), during which I have spent a period at CSIRO Tropical Ecosystems Research Centre, Australia. I investigate the impacts of human disturbances on biological communities and ecosystem functions/services they perform, mainly using manipulative experiments in the field. I work mainly with the following subjects: Amazon, disturbance ecology, community ecology, ecosystem functioning, functional diversity, land-use change. E-mail: lucaspaolucci@gmail.com
