About

Graduated in Pharmacy with an emphasis in Clinical Analysis at the Federal University of Espirito Santo (2008), master's degree in Biochemistry and Immunology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2010) and Ph. D. degree (2015) in Immunology at the same university. Wide theoretical and practical experience in Molecular Biology and Immunology.Works mostly on the following subjects: host-microbe interaction, molecular mechanisms of inflammation and innate immunity, with emphasis in the immune response by inflamasomes and platelet-induced cytokine production. Also have developed studies on regulation of immune response and fever induction by endogenous and exogenous pyrogens and on diagnosis of infectious diseases, especially arboviral diseases as dengue, chikungunya and zika.
