    Luisa De Roo is the owner of Luisa De Roo Interior Architecture, Inc., in Woodstock, Illinois. In her capacity as president of the company, she is involved in project management, planning, design, and construction management, among other responsibilities. The company manages the interior environment as a whole. Its undertakings including planning; the procurement of equipment, fixtures, furniture, flooring, and finishes; and construction. Under the oversight of its owner and president, the firm has worked on major projects, including the Cook County Government South Campus Facility and the Victory Center of South Chicago. Before venturing into the aforementioned business, De Roo served LaSalle Partners as project manager as well as minority business enterprise and woman business enterprise coordinator. Prior to that, she supported the CNA Insurance Companies’ Field Office Facility Administration as senior facility project designer. Furthermore, her experience in design includes a period with Architectural Interiors, Inc., a subsidiary of A. Epstein & Sons, International Inc. She spent part of that stint at the subsidiary’s London office. In addition to her professional experiences, she is a member of animal welfare organizations such as the Humane Society of the United States.
