About

Lukman Hakim received his bachelor degree in physical chemistry from Brawijaya University in 2003, and he was appointed as a lecturer at the same university in the same year. He was then awarded a scholarship by INPEX foundation to continue his study in Japan, and earned his master degree in analytical chemistry (2007) and further doctor degree in theoretical chemistry (2010) from Okayama University. In 2010, he became a non-tenure assistant professor at laboratory of theoretical chemistry, Okayama University. His principal research interests are the thermodynamic properties of gas hydrates, the behaviors of water in confinement, solid-phase extraction, and flow analysis automation.
