I am a political scientist with a focus on international relations and conflict research. Between 2010 and 2018, I have served as academic programme director for M.Sc. Public Policy and Human Development offered jointly by Maastricht University and United Nations University. At present, I am a member of the development team for the upcoming interdisciplinary B.A. Global Studies. I also lecture at United Nations University and University College Maastricht, and provide supervision for bachelor, master and doctoral students.
