BIO LYNNE WILLIAMS Lynne Williams has been named to the Who's Who Among American Teachers three times. She is writing her doctoral dissertation at Immaculata University on Web 2.0 in classroom and holds 9 certifications. In 1980, she earned a BS degree in Business Administration with a secondary major in French from the University of Delaware. Her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership was earned at Immaculata University and completed in 2005 and doctoral coursework was completed in 2010. Prior to entering education, Ms. Williams was in sales and marketing of construction products and also general contracting. She joined the Pottstown School District in 2001 as an 8th grade French teacher and then taught K-6 gifted support plus 6-8 Instructional Support. During the 2006/2007 school year, she acted as a long term substitute K-5 elementary gifted support and pre-algebra teacher in the Lower Merion School District at Penn Wynne Elementary in Wynnewood and then took the position of long term substitute 7th grade learning support teacher at Downingtown Middle School during the 2007/2008 school year. For the 2008/2009 school year, Lynne is a business and technology long term substitute teacher at Haverford High School and will also continue teaching for the Carnegie Mellon C-MITES program in Lower Merion in the fall and spring each year. Effective as of the 2009/2010 school year, Lynne is a Family Consumer Sciences teacher at North Penn High School. Outside of school, Ms. Williams is involved with the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA, the Berwyn Fire Company and is on the Archdiocesan Girl Scout Committee. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the AAFCS, PAFCS, and Phi Delta Kappa. She resides in Chesterbrook with one daughter who attends Ohio State as a hospitality management major and another in the Radio and Television program at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
