Holds a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1994), MA in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1995) and Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (1999). He is currently Associated Professor at the School of Science and Technology, Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. It is also reviewer of Journal of Physics D. Applied Physics (0022-3727), Journal of Optics, Optical Materials, Journal of Physics. Condensed Matter, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B and Physical Review E. He has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on semiconductor and Dielectric Superlattice, acting on the following topics: polaritons, light waves in quasi-crystals, Superlattice and multilayer. Also, he works in magnonic crsytals and magnetic suparlattice and multilayers.
