I hold a doctorate in Psychology from the University of Barcelona. After practicing psychology since 1992 in the State Administration, I joined the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in 2001 as a professor of different subjects in the area of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatment. I am the director of the Master in Psychology 2.0 and mHealth (MU Psychology, Health and Quality of Life) and the coordinator in the UOC of the Interuniversity Master’s degree in General Health Psychology (UdG-UOC). Since 2012 I have been the Vice-president of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), an entity that represents 290 patients’ organizations affected by uncommon diseases. In the Federation, I participate in the FEDER Observatory for Rare Diseases initiative along with researchers from the PSiNET group and other Spanish universities.
