Currently, my main research line is BODI (Black-box by Optimization by Deterministic Identification) which are deterministic algorithms that solve to optimality problems that can be expressed as a summation of subfunctions of bounded order. I am also interested in learning classifier systems and their variants that can deal with continuous variables (like the fuzzy classifier system) and stochastic environments. I am interested applications of evolutionary computation to finance, logistics, and automatic control.
