I am a Ph.D student at IRIDIA, CoDE, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium under the supervision of Prof. Marco Dorigo and Mauro Birattari. My research topics are swarm robotics, artificial intelligence and self-assembling systems. I'm currently involved with the Swarmanoid project. Before joining IRIDIA I studied computer science engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. I obtained my master degree in 2009 with a thesis co-supervised by Prof. Marco Colombetti and Marco Dorigo. My other interests are: music (I play the bass guitar and the piano), concerts, yoga, travelling, reading, origami, chess, movies, beer, nonsense, people and technology
