I am currently working on characterising new materials for thermally-activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) OLEDs. This involves a study of the excited state species of these materials and investigating the spin-orbit coupling between the emissive and non-emissive states in the systems. Predominantly I am using photoinduced absorption and flash photolysis as the main techniques for this project, alongside a theoretical study of the photophysics in these systems.
