I am full professor at the School of Engineering of São Carlos in the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where I am the head of the Operations Research & Management Sciences Group. My research interests refer to decision systems and models in industry and services, including a range of decisions related to the design and optimization of processes, production and supply chain planning and scheduling, as well as Knowledge Management & Innovation Management as a supporting infrastructure. In these areas, I have taught some courses and conducted a number of research projects.
