Marcio DeSouza is Advisor for International Trade Negotiations at the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Brazil since mid-2004. He has also worked at the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture in the International Division. Previous, in the banking sector, he was responsible for establishing international future markets operations in Banco do Brasil. In the 80s, he has worked at the Foreign Trade Department in Brazil dealing with market research for tariff and non-tariff barriers and regulations in the European Union. He holds a Master in International Law and Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in Law and studies in Economics (financial risk analysis, futures markets and foreign trade).
