About

I am the head of a Plant Biotechnology group at the ICT-Milstein, a CONICET's Institute. My group works in the field of the recombinant protein production in in vitro cultures. We focus on proteins of interest in human an animal medicine, both for therapy as for prevention (vaccines). Also we have a line for the production of recombinant proteins for diagnosis kits (e.g: ELISA). Besides, we have a line of research on secondary metabolites produced by plant in vitro cultures (cell suspension and hairy root cultures).
