About

Broadly-trained ecologist with expertise in theoretical ecology, ecological simulation modeling, landscape ecology, ecology of vertebrates, arid land ecosystems. Recent research interests include ecological risk assessment, particularly for biological stressors such as invasive species and emerging diseases, and impacts of climate change on species and ecosystems. Currently writing extensively on research design issues in natural resource management, and on the pedagogy of population ecology.
