An entrepreneur across multiple industries, Mark Morad has focused his attention primarily on the healthcare sector. He founded Tri-Care Home Health and Lexmark Healthcare, as well as three home- and community-based waiver organizations. Also the founder of Lakeland Health Care and Memorial Home Health as well as Med Rite Pharmacy, Mark Morad began his entrepreneurial career when he established Interlink Health Care in 1997, having gathered business experience as a real estate investor.
Also a registered nurse (RN), Mark Morad received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1989 and cared for patients in the psychiatric units of Pine Grove Psychiatric Hospital, DePaul Hospital, and Methodists Psychiatric Pavilion throughout the late 1980s and early- to mid-‘90s. He entered home health care in 1991, when he became director of nursing for Capital Home Health, and later served as psychiatric RN for Interim Health Care. In the late 1990’s he purchased his first of several health care companies. He continues to act as the CEO of many of these organizations. Mr. Morad also leads as founder of the International Franchised Group, corporate directors of The Original Italian Pie locations.
Mark Morad’s interest in real estate began just after hurricane Katrina when he purchased housing for his employees who were affected by the disaster. This led to him making numerous investments.
