About

I am a tropical ecologist who has worked in South Africa, South America and South East Asia. My interest is in landscape ecology and the interplay of climate, fire, plants herbivores (particularly megaherbivores) and human populations and how these shape the vegetation dynamics, carbon pools and biodiversity of ecosystems.
