About

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Biological Oceanography at Florida State University in the Marine Turtle Research, Ecology, and Conservation Group. My research investigates the impacts our beach- and species management plans have on the nesting environment of marine turtles in the northern Gulf of Mexico. This work has primarily been based in the Fort Morgan, AL area where I coordinate with the USFWS personnel of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and the 400+ member volunteer turtle monitoring group Share the Beach.
