About

Matthew D. Williams received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, Clemson, SC in spring 2005 and the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville, FL in May 2008. He was a visiting researcher at Technical University of Delft from September 2008-September 2009 and is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Florida. He is a recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. His research is in the area of modeling, design, and optimization of MEMS based transducers, particularly microphones and multistable devices.
