About

I'm particularly interested in the overlap between artificial intelligence and cognitive science, trying to apply the lessons and techniques of one to further progress and understanding in the other. I'm currently at the Center for Perceptual Systems at UT Austin working with Mary Hayhoe on understanding and modeling human eye movements using virtual reality. I received my PhD from UCSD in Computer Science and Cognitive Science under the supervision of Garrison Cottrell.
