The main lines of my research work are related with the determination of physical chemistry properties and molecular structure, including conformational aspects, of inorganic and organic species, especially sulfur-containing molecules. A second field is focused on the study of the electronic properties of gaseous molecules, mainly by using synchrotron-based techniques, together with photoelectron spectroscopy. The studied species -in general novel compounds- are synthetized in our laboratory. Current interest includes the investigation for potential application of synthetized novel compounds against drug-resistant bacteria.
