About

I am a PhD candidate and Gates scholar in Elizabeth Murchison's Transmissible Cancer Group at the University of Cambridge. My work is on the genetics and evolution of Devil Facial Tumour Diseases (DFT), contagious cancer clones that threaten Tasmanian devils, the largest carnivorous marsupials on the planet. My research comprises computational analyses of next-generation DNA and RNA sequencing, molecular biology and fieldwork in Tasmania.
