About

I am currently a Professor of Pathology at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Science, Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. I received PhD in Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Chonbuk National University, Republic of Korea. My doctoral research was focused on the cloning and expression of chicken cytokines using Salmonella enterica Serovar Typhimurium (χ8501) expression system and evaluating their antiviral and immunomodulatory properties against two important poultry viruses: Avian Influenza Virus (AIV) and Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV). I contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the project: Meta-immunobiological study and therapeutic implication of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ regulatory T cells expanded by acute infection with zoonotic flaviviruses” at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Chonbuk National University, Republic of Korea. I worked as a Senior Research Scientist in Salmonella research team at the Veterinary Research Institute, Czech Republic for developing Salmonella vaccines. I authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and written 2 book chapters. I presented his research achievements in many National and International Scientific Conferences. I hold a number of professional and affiliate memberships in home and abroad.
